Table 1929 Aminia Dubai Hosted Its First Ever Chef’s Table Experience

As Aminia Dubai approached its first anniversary in the UAE, the restaurant proudly launched Table 1929 — Aminia’s very first chef’s table experience, created straight from the heart of the kitchen.

Inspired by nearly a century of heritage dating back to Zakaria Street, Kolkata in 1929, Table 1929 was designed as an intimate dining experience that blended nostalgia, storytelling, innovation, and modern culinary artistry.

Created by Chef Amaad Amin, the concept brought together the soul of Kolkata’s rich food culture with influences gathered from his culinary journey through Sydney, London, and Dubai. Combining authentic Mughlai flavours, bold spices, and the best of local UAE produce, the experience offered guests something completely unique within Dubai’s dining scene.

Table 1929 represented more than simply a tasting menu. It became a celebration of Aminia’s journey from Kolkata to Dubai, honouring the traditions that built the brand while embracing a new generation of creativity and culinary storytelling.

Guests attending the experience were presented with a carefully curated menu inspired by century old family recipes, modern fine dining techniques, and ingredients sourced locally from the UAE. Each course was thoughtfully developed to reflect a chapter of Aminia’s evolving story from its beginnings as one of Kolkata’s most iconic Mughlai restaurants to its growing international presence in Dubai Production City.

As Aminia moves closer towards 100 years of heritage, Table 1929 marked an exciting new chapter in the evolution of the brand one rooted in authenticity, hospitality, and innovation.
