Tangra House by Aminia Launches in Dubai
Dubai, UAE — Aminia Restaurants, the historic family run restaurant brand founded in Zakaria Street, Kolkata in 1929, has officially launched its second food concept in the UAE — Tangra House by Aminia — now available for delivery across Dubai through Careem and Noon.
Tangra House by Aminia is a modern Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) concept dedicated to celebrating the bold and nostalgic flavours of Indian Chinese cuisine, also famously known as Tangra Chinese.
Originating from the Tangra neighbourhood of Kolkata, Indian Chinese cuisine was born when Chinese settlers arrived in the city during the 1940s, bringing their culinary traditions with them. Over time, these flavours fused with Indian spices and cooking techniques, creating one of Kolkata’s most iconic and beloved food cultures.
With the launch of Tangra House by Aminia, the brand aims to introduce Dubai audiences to authentic Kolkata style Indian Chinese dishes including Tangra Chilli Chicken, Veg Manchurian, Hakka Noodles, Garlic Fried Rice, and other classic comfort foods deeply connected to the culinary identity of the City of Joy.
Speaking about the launch, Amaad Amin shared that Tangra House was created to offer a true taste of home for those craving authentic Indian Chinese food in Dubai.
